Description
The other day my mother and I went for a walk around the Mount around sundown on a particularly sunny day. I took a few photos of various things and I think this was the pick of the crop.
The statue out on the rock is (I think) of Tangaroa, Maori god of the Sea. For some reason in Maori superstition, bananas are considered unlucky to carry with you on a boat so you throw your bananas out at the statue as you leave the harbour.
No edition here besides cropping and border.
