Yay Fourier Series!  Fun signal transform we're doing a lot of work on in several of my papers this year. Basically, it represents any given periodic function in terms an infinite sum of sine and cosine waves (which is kinda useful in electronics). No idea why dA needs a (poorly animated) stamp with this on it. I hadn't let my inner nerd out in a while. I can't wait until I'm 3rd pro. They make a 3rd Pro Electronics T-shirt/hoodie every year with some gloriously nerdy electrical joke on it. One of the lab TA's had one with "Electrical Engineering - It's a Four-year transform" with the Fourier graph on it. ...and yes I do count making this as study! |
