Execution

EDIT: Antak's polished his armour a bit, so I've made the gleam off the armour a bit brighter. The old version is here. Please tell me if you think this is an improvement.

Well, I think this is new record set for just about everything. Two weeks and two days from start to finish and what very well might be my best digital painting yet.
So here we have my Halo fancharacter Antak Koadamee finishing off the last defenders of a UNSC space station, now with 100% more brutality. I never gave Antak a plasma rifle since they're such garbage in game, but when I stopped to think what a stream of what is basically pure energy would do to solid matter, it suddenly sounded a lot more badass. He still has his carbine, just not in this picture.

Antak's character is one of the Templar archetype- strict lawful good with a burning compulsion to seek out and destroy evil at any cost. Under the Covenant theocracy, that "evil" would be us. His swift and savage eradication of any and all human elements is to him, a moral necessity.

Inspired by my flatmate's comment that I needed to draw more graphic violence. You can collectively blame him for this.
All criticism greatly appreciated. I might make a few tweaks over the next week or so if I find things I can improve.
